Dogs have always been considered a child’s best friend. Growing up with a dog has been shown to help children develop social skills, impulse control, and self-esteem. When you get back, dogs will be thrilled to see you, and they will show you unconditional love. They’re the ideal confidant as well as a willing playmate. The 12 most affordable dog breeds are on this list. Let’s investigate them!

Indian Spitz

Despite their occasional naughtiness, Indian Spitz dogs are highly regarded. They are very family-friendly and have a fun personality. These dogs long for individual attention and will not tolerate being left alone or ignored for long periods of time. They usually bark at strangers who enter their territory, but if humans value them, they will calm down. They should be relaxedly introduced to visitors by their owners. Indian Spitz dogs are intelligent and quick learners. Indian Spitz dogs’ personalities can be accurately described as affectionate, active, loyal, and obedient, which may explain their continued popularity. The average quality Indian Spitz costs from ₹8,000 to ₹12,000.

German Shepherd

A typical German Shepherd puppy would set you back approximately 10,000 yen. German Shepherds are breeds with a lot of energy, confidence, and intelligence. They are not only curious and alert but also obedient, loyal, protective, and courageous! For the development of their mental and physical health, these dogs require regular exercise and training. Because dogs think from their stomachs, they need to be well-fed because they have responsibilities! Having a German Shepherd at home is like having a guardian always be by your side, play with you and protect you and your family.

Pug

In terms of cost, a standard-quality pug costs 18,000 yen, making it an affordable option for most new pet owners. Thus, they are cost-effective. Pugs are well-known as companion dogs that are kind and gentle. The breed’s personality is described as calm and charming, and they remain popular even in the twenty-first century, with various celebrities owning them! There is nothing like a pug. They are hilarious, adorably affectionate, devoted, and adorable all at once. Anyone can become a pug lover with just a little love!

Pomeranian

This small but tough dog breed is known for being smart, curious, energetic, feisty, and bold. They are usually a lot of fun and enjoy being the focus of attention. Although they can be wonderful family dogs, they might not be the best choice for households with young children. Despite their small stature, Pomeranians have a loud bark and make good watchdogs. However, because they don’t always know when to stop barking, it’s a good idea to teach them to do so on-demand. Pomeranian puppies range in price from ₹8,000 to ₹12,000 on average.

Doberman

The Doberman Pinscher, or Doberman as it is known in some countries, is a muscular dog that stands between 25 and 27 inches tall and has a sleek black and tan coat. Although it may appear to be frightening, the dog is far from it. The Doberman’s muzzle is long. When it stands on that pad, it typically does not have a particularly heavy foot. Dobermans were bred to be aggressive guard dogs, so they are naturally loyal and protective. However, they are also extremely gentle and affectionate animals who enjoy being with their family. Up to 25,000 yen is spent on a Doberman of standard quality.

Chihuahua

The Chihuahua is one of the world’s smallest dogs. Its name comes from the state of Chihuahua in Mexico. The Chihuahua dog breed is charming for its small size, big personality, and variety of coat colors and types. The dog fits in your hand perfectly! I recently had a conversation with new Chihuahua parents, and this was a real eye-opener about this feisty little breed. The average Chihuahua price ranges between ₹5,000 and ₹25,000.

Beagle

Whether you live alone or have young children in the house, Beagles are one of the best family dogs because of their upbeat personality, gentle disposition, and low maintenance. They are one of the best dogs to have as a pet, despite their propensity to bark and stubbornness. They can wander around a lot and think (not literally) with their noses! They are happy dogs who love to be loved, but they prefer company. Beagles cost anywhere from ₹8,000 to ₹16,000 in India.

Boxer

Boxers are known to be not only devoted and cheerful but also loyal, confident, and playful. They are brave yet calm. Boxers are considered regular or average in intelligence for compliance and working knowledge. Stanley Coren, a dog psychologist, stated that they rank 90th among the sharpest dog breeds. Regardless, Boxers are natural learners and can undoubtedly gain from previous encounters. The cost of Boxers ranges from ₹6,000 to ₹20,000.

Rampur Hound

The Rampur Hound is one of the oldest and most uncommon dog breeds in India. Rampur, which is in the north of India between Delhi and Bareilly and is where this breed was born, is where its name comes from. The Nawab of Rampur- Ahmed Ali Khan Bahadur, created this breed by combining the bloodlines of Tazi from Afghanistan and English Grey Hound from the United Kingdom and named it Rampur Hound. This breed is known for being extremely loyal to its family. A Rampur Hound costs between ₹5,000 and ₹12,000.

Kombai

One of the most courageous dogs in India is the Kombai. In the old days, people used them primarily for hunting boars, bison, and deer. The Kombai is a native dog breed of Tamil Nadu and is named after the town where it originated. They are wonderful guard dogs who also make wonderful pets and are extremely loyal. The unique coat style of this breed leads people to believe it is a fox descendant. It is available in India for ₹5,000 – ₹9,000.
